Our skin is covered with tiny hairs, each hair follicle comes out of a pore. The hair follicle has a gland inside it that produces oil which is called the sebaceous gland. When the sebaceous gland releases oil, the oil rises to the top of the skin and collects further oil inside the pore.

The main causes of enlarged pores are typically caused due to decreased elasticity around the pore, excessive sebum production and increased hair follicle volume which can block the pore. Nuna’s medical device’s light-based treatments help to reduce the size of enlarged pores and also reduce the amount of them.
